DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand, has announced the expansion of its TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 storage portfolio with the introduction of three new products – an Adaptor, Deep Compact Toolbox and 3-Drawer Toolbox – providing users with greater connectivity to other storage modules and convenient access to tools.
The new TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Adaptor (DWST08017) allows users to build a versatile and customized storage solution through expanded compatibility. The double-sided, multi-system adaptor plate allows users to connect any TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 storage solution to more than 40 products including DEWALT TSTAK modules, TOUGHCASE sets, and select DEWALT Pro Organizers (each sold separately). The Adaptor is also designed with integrated slots to hang compatible tools and accessories for quick accessibility.
The TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Deep Compact Toolbox (DWST08035) is built for maximum durability in tough jobsite environments. The IP65* Water Resistant toolbox offers abundant storage with a volume capacity of up to 5.3 gallons or 20 liters and up to a 77 lb. load capacity. A lidded organizer, and four removable dividers create customized storage space for power tools, hand tools and accessories, while additional tools can be hung from an integrated tool belt hook via slots on the box’s built-in side handles. The patented auto-connect side latch allows for secure connection to additional TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 products, and a customizable content plate can be labeled for quick identification of the toolbox’s contents.
The TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 3-Drawer Toolbox (DWST08330) has three shallow drawers with a load capacity of up to 43.5 lbs./19.8 kg. total or 14.5 lbs./6.6 kg. per drawer to store and transport small tools and accessories. The toolbox offers smooth operation with ball-bearing metal slides, a quick-latching mechanism for secure closure of each drawer, and patented auto-connect side latches to easily attach and remove additional storage units.
The TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Adaptor, and 3-Drawer Toolbox will be available in March where DEWALT products are sold. The Deep Compact Toolbox will be available in May.
