Hofmann Introduces New Armored Series Wheel Balancer

The 2400P helps eliminate guesswork with a pinpoint laser for the exact location of weight application.

The new Hofmann Armored Series 2400P wheel balancer was introduced at the 2023 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.

“The new Hofmann 2400P Armored Series wheel balancer is sure to be a game changer when it comes to productivity, performance, reliability and customer satisfaction,” said Leandro Camargo, product manager for Hofmann. “It provides extra strength and speed, while offering unparalleled accuracy and advanced features that consistently deliver. Hofmann customers can take wheel balancing to the next level with the state-of-the-art 2400P balancer.”

Meticulously crafted from robust steel to help guarantee resilience even in the toughest environments, the Hofmann 2400P Armored Series balancer is built to last, the company stated.

Boasting an ergonomic design, the Armored Series balancer features a compact yet powerful framework that ensures maximum capability without occupying excessive space. The high-resolution touchscreen display and thoughtfully designed, intuitive interface helps users effortlessly navigate the balancer. In addition, the enhanced web connectivity provided through an innovative app allows shops to tap into real time updates, job reports and training videos.

Featuring streamlined weight placement, the precision-focused 2400P helps eliminate guesswork with a laser that pinpoints the exact location for weight application, ensuring proper balancing and accurate results. The Power Clamp feature utilizes advanced electromechanical technology to incorporate a power clamping device that consistently and reliably secures the wheel with constant force, ensuring exceptional accuracy and repeatable results every time.

The Hofmann 2400P was developed to be versatile, enabling it to work with both standard and electric vehicle wheels (EV ready). Additionally, it features automatic data entry, eliminating the need for manual input, and automatically detects wheel dimensions, selecting the appropriate balancing mode, weight type and weight position. This automation accelerates the balancing cycle, reduces operational errors and enhances efficiency. Another unique feature on the Hofmann 2400P is smartSonar, which utilizes sonar sensors to automatically detect the rim width, eliminating the need for manual input and reducing the possibility of errors.
