Four Seasons Inc. announces it has added blower motor resistors to its line of temperature control products. For manual A/C systems, blower motor resistors are also known as resistor blocks, and for electronic/automatic AC systems, they are known as blower motor speed controllers.
Four Seasons offers coverage for Acura, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Coverage is also available for several of the rear heater and A/C systems found in SUVs and vans.
“The most common cause for a resistor block to fail is a blower motor that is drawing too many amps,” said Benny Araujo, marketing manager for Four Seasons. “When replacing the resistor, it is important to test the blower motor and replace it if it isn’t functioning properly. Four Seasons’ blower motor resistors are another example of how technicians can count on us for all of their temperature control needs.”
