The FilterGlove, manufactured by Kupuna Inc. brings an exciting new device to the oil change arena.
The FilterGlove, a molded plastic oil change aid, fits on most spin-on gasoline filters, and catches the hot, messy oil drips when unscrewing the oil filter from engines. The FilterGlove works to protect the environment, preventing messy drips and spills in driveways, bilges, near docks, and on shop floors. The tapered “fingers” on the interior of the FilterGlove are designed to grip and hold the filter snugly as it is being unscrewed. Any leaking oil being released from the loosened filter runs down the sides, and is captured in the bottom of the FilterGlove for easy disposal into an appropriate container. Additionally, it protects the users hands from the potentially hot temperature of the filter being changed.
FilterGlove is made with a durable, soft poly blend material designed to withstand all fuel, oil and temperatures associated with the oil change process. The FilterGlove can be used when changing oil on cars, boats, RVs, ATVs and farm equipment, and allows for easy cleaning and reusing.
Stan Jerantowski, president of Kupuna, Inc, states that he is overwhelmed by the response that FilterGlove has brought. Users of the FilterGlove are saying that once they use the item, they could never be without it. FilterGlove is recognized by the Florida Clean Marina in partnership with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection, as published in their Sources For Best Management Practices In Marine Facilities Manual.
Jerantowski states that additional sizes of the FilterGlove are in development to accommodate larger filters on diesel and industrial size engines. The FilterGlove can also be private labeled, and can be made in a variety of colors. For more information on the FilterGlove, visit www.FilterGlove.com or call (608) 474-0447.
