Digital Edition of May TechShop Available

This special issue of TechShop highlights some of the new products we saw at the Matco Tools Expo, the Mac Tools Tool Fair, the Cornwell Quality Tools Tool Rally and ISN’s Tool Expo West.

Did you see the May issue of TechShop? If not, or you’d like to see it again, the digital edition is now available.

This special issue of TechShop highlights some of the new products we saw at the Matco Tools Expo in New Orleans, the Mac Tools Tool Fair in Nashville, the Cornwell Quality Tools Tool Rally also in Nashville and ISN’s Tool Expo West in Las Vegas.

For more than 17 years, we’ve attended tool shows on behalf of TechShop, and each year they’re more impressive with the quality of the new product announcements, training seminars, number of vendors and attendees, and prizes awarded to distributors — which, by the way, can range anywhere from $100 in cash to decked out toolboxes to brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycles and full-size Ford pick-up trucks.

The main attendees at these shows are the men and women who bring the tools to your shop’s doorstep. As technicians and shop owners, you rely on your local mobile distributor for information about new equipment and tools. While we often link our product posts to the company’s website so you can find more information there, you might want to first check with your tool distributor. At the tool shows he or she may have been directly trained on the proper use of the tools and equipment — especially some of the diagnostic tools — and can provide you with hints for completing a job quicker or more effectively.

So, like the tools shows, this special issue is dedicated to the tool truck driver. Call on him or her to help you with one (or more!) of the new tools you’ll see on the following pages.
