Tenneco’s DynoMax performance exhaust brand now offers two new drone-free performance exhaust systems for Dodge Challenger R/T and SRT-8 cars. DynoMax performance exhaust products are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco.
Available now at performance retailers nationwide, the new DynoMax systems cover the 2009-2012 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7L Hemi V8 model (Part no. 38490) and the 2008-2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 6.1L and 6.4L Hemi V8 models (Part no. 38484). The DynoMax R/T system posted a gain of 10 horsepower and 23-ft. lbs. of torque and the DynoMax SRT-8 system posted a gain of 23 horsepower and 23-ft. lbs. of torque in recent dyno testing over the stock systems.
These latest DynoMax Challenger systems include the exclusive DynoMax VT muffler. This innovative muffler features a precisely calibrated, patented internal valve that ensures maximum performance and provides a drone-free experience inside the vehicle. The DynoMax VT muffler – engineered to deliver DynoMax’s trademark “Drone-Free Performance” – is a welded stainless steel muffler and includes an entire set of design enhancements to help increase horsepower and performance.

All necessary OE-style rod hangers, stainless steel band clamps and other hardware is included in each kit. All DynoMax systems include handy, full-color guides for fast, easy installations.
