TECH Expands its Presence with Launch of New E-Commerce Site

This new e-commerce site provides a way for any automotive, commercial truck or agriculture repair shop not supported by a TECH distributor to easily access TECH’s tire and wheel service products.

TECH Tire Repairs, a wholly owned company of Technical Rubber Company (TRC), is laying the groundwork for the next 80 years with the launch of a new e-commerce site.

The site provides a way for any automotive, commercial truck or agriculture repair shop not supported by a TECH distributor to easily access, 24-7-365, TECH’s tire and wheel service products.

“Reaching customers not currently served by a TECH distributor, the e-commerce site has the power to strengthen our distribution network by accessing untapped customer opportunities,” said Chris Intihar, TECH Americas general manager. “It’s important for our distributors to know that the idea behind this site is to help generate new customers which they would be able to service. Most importantly, the goal is to get our world-class products into the hands of new customers who value TECH’s high-quality products. It is a tool meant to establish and enhance relationships.”

The e-commerce site, which soft launched in October, allows customers to quickly order from a comprehensive line-up of TECH’s tire and wheel service products at the click of a button. New products will be added regularly. The site navigation is clean and intuitive, with products clearly delineated among categories such as Tire Repair Materials, Wheel & Tire Supplies, Chemicals and Service Tools & Equipment. Items are linked to other commonly used products as well as TECH’s comprehensive training library.

Since going live, the site has received steadily increasing traffic, successful sales, and has already led to the identification of new customers. TECH will be offering special on-line promotions as well as fun and engaging contests.
