Equus Products, Inc. announces the availability of its INNOVA 3140 Scan Tool CanOBD2&1 Kit, which is for all 1996 and newer OBD II-compliant cars, light trucks, SUVs and minivans — foreign and domestic, and some of the most popular OBD I (1981 to 1995) vehicles. This tool features patented trilingual interface with on-screen code definitions in English, Spanish and French; patented all-in-one display showing 25 vital pieces of information at one time; “plug & play” interface; and continuous link for performing drive cycles to verify repairs. It also shows valuable OBD II SAE-enhanced live and freeze-frame data, and lets the user record and playback live data streams and perform bi-directional testing.

Misfire activity is found on cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8 and 3; at first glance this series of codes implies that there may be bank 2 issues, but the cylinder 3 code throws a wrench into that mode of thought.
