The Thrush brand – a popular exhaust choice among muscle car enthusiasts from the 1960s through today – has expanded the popular Thrush Welded muffler series to include additional configurations and a brand-new Camaro “crossflow” style. The new mufflers are available at performance products retailers nationwide.
Thrush exhaust systems, mufflers and accessories are manufactured by Tenneco Inc. The “Vintage Sound…Today’s Power” Thrush brand has made hot rods hotter since 1966. New silver painted, 100-percent aluminized Thrush Welded mufflers are fully welded for increased durability and wear. The series features a two-chamber design for improved flow and a deep, aggressive acoustical note.
Made for an even wider range of popular domestic and import applications, the new Thrush Welded mufflers are available in several overall lengths, including the 19-in. center-dual outlet configuration with 3-in. inlet and 2.25-in. outlet diameters (p/n 17630); 21-in. dual inlet-dual outlet configuration with 2.25-in. inlet and 2.25-in. outlet diameters (p/n 17637); and 23-in. Camaro “crossflow” style single inlet-dual outlet configuration with 2.5-in. inlet and 2.5-in. outlet diameters (p/n 17638).
