The HTLP-2 LED Lighted Pick-Up Tool from Ullman Devices Corp. illuminates dark areas, and the newly designed heavy-duty magnetic steel head shields the sides of the magnet from attaching to unwanted metal surfaces. This handy tool lifts up to 8 lbs. and features a thick cushion grip that won’t slip in wet or oily hands. The stainless steel handle telescopes from 8” to 32-3/4” to retrieve dropped metal objects in dark hard-to-reach areas.

This month’s diagnostic journey begins with a 2008 Land Rover Discovery that is taken in to a local testing facility for an emission test and fails due to a series of misfire codes.

Misfire activity is found on cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8 and 3; at first glance this series of codes implies that there may be bank 2 issues, but the cylinder 3 code throws a wrench into that mode of thought.
