Redline Detection announced at AAPEX an exclusive partnership with Integrated Supply Network (ISN). The company’s Air Brake NanoLeak Finder will be available Jan. 1, 2018, exclusively through ISN.
“This equipment was two-and-a-half years in development,” said Alex Parker, executive vice president of Redline Detection, commenting that the company developed it in response to demand in the field. Redline has tested it on more than 300 vehicles, and Parker said technicians were thrilled with the ease of use, speed and accuracy of the Air Brake NanoLeak Finder.
“ISN is thrilled to partner with Redline for this exclusive product launch,” said Chuck Willis, director of heavy duty programs at ISN. “Redline is the industry leader in leak detection innovation and this NanoLeak technology answers a real demand in the marketplace. Fleets and technicians have been asking for a tool to solve air brake and air powered system problems for years. Redline has engineered a brilliant solution that in under a minute gives a green/red, pass/fail indicating whether vehicles meet DOT standards, and then pinpoints the problem in under 10 minutes. That means that even a relatively inexperienced technician can reliably test every vehicle, quickly pinpointing the site of the problem with 100% certainty, freeing more experienced technicians to make repairs.”
Patent-pending technology in the equipment creates a signature air that, in conjunction with the hand-held NanoLeak Locator, pinpoints the precise location of air brake leaks instantly. The NanoLeak Finder features a clear green or red, pass or fail indicator light for foolproof testing regardless of technician, truck or trailer variables, says the company. The equipment improves efficiency, saving valuable hours.
Weighing only 8.6 lbs., the Redline Air Brake NanoLeak Finder runs on compressed air and 12V DC, and utilizes test pressure up to 135 psi (9.3 Bar).
