The Alliance Announces ‘Drive To Daytona’ Sweepstakes Winners

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has reported that its Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Stores' latest "Drive To Daytona" promotion is believed to be the largest sweepstakes of its kind in aftermarket history, according to the program group.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has reported that its Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Stores’ latest “Drive To Daytona” promotion is believed to be the largest sweepstakes of its kind in aftermarket history, according to the program group.

Each month from September through November 2013, eight qualifying technicians will win an all-inclusive trip for two to a full weekend of racing action at Daytona International Speedway for the Budweiser SPEEDWEEK 2014 event and tickets to all three races. Three of the 24 lucky trip winners will receive a key at DAYTONA that gives them a chance to win a 2014 Corvette Stingray.

Additionally, during the three-month promotional period, one Mustang GT will be given away each month to qualifying technicians. Plus, each month 50 participating technicians will receive a variety of consumer electronic prizes including 55-inch LED televisions, iPads, Digital SLR cameras and Bluetooth sound systems.

The first month’s DAYTONA trip winners are:

• Jeff Slavich, Tires Unlimited-Silicon Valley – National Performance Warehouse
• George Ruiz, Yosemite Smog and Electric – Smith Auto Parts
• Thomas Maracle, Cindora Auto Sales – Vast-Auto Distribution

“Based on the overwhelming response to our Big Game Sweepstakes last year, we felt like we needed to come back with something at least as big," said Dan Williford, marketing director. “Based on the number of entrants and the response from our customers, we have succeeded in meeting that objective."
