Baum Tools offers its VW and Audi 2.0T and 1.8T Coolant Pump Intermediate Shaft Bolt Servicing Tool (T10360).
Servicing the coolant pump on modern VW and Audi 4-cylinder turbo engines is not only a time-consuming procedure, but you also have to make sure you have the correct tools to do the job.
The job calls for a special offset torque wrench ring adapter (T10360) and a torque wrench (ST730/5) that fits the ring adapter. The bolt on the intermediate shaft drive sprocket is left-hand thread and has to be torqued correctly.
