Mayhew ISO 9001:2015 Certification Extended

New accreditation certifies Mayhew’s Quality Management System applicable to design, configuration management, manufacture and distribution of hand tools.

Mayhew Steel Products (Mayhew Tools) announces extension of their ISO 9001:2015 certification through May 2023 and receives new accreditation through the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB).

The ANAB is a non-governmental organization that provides accreditation services and training to public and private sector organizations, serving the global marketplace. This accreditation certifies Mayhew’s Quality Management System applicable to Design, Configuration Management, Manufacture and Distribution of hand tools has been assessed and approved by the NQA against the provisions of the ISO 9001:2015.

ANAB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is a nonprofit corporation and the largest accreditation body in North America and provides services in more than 75 countries. ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies what is required of an organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). Companies using the ISO 9001 standard report that it helps organize a QMS, create satisfied customers, management and employees, continually improve their processes and save costs. ISO 9001:2015 is the most recent ISO 9001 standard, with “2015” referencing the year of the latest major revision.
