Comprehensive USA European 2010 Software Coverage Now Available for OTC Pegisys

OTC, an SPX brand, recently released the latest Pegisys software subscription (Version 3.1) to its on-tool repair and diagnostic information suite, which specifically focuses on Special Tests like Tire Pressure Sensor Registration for servicing European 2010 and earlier model vehicles.

This release marks another installment of the new 2010 models, and introduces several new productivity features and continued software improvements, including focuses on Chrysler VIN writing and Ford Power Balance tests, and added enhanced data group features on Volkswagen and Audi engine to support multiple group selection.

Version 3.1 boasts expanded system coverage for previously USA European vehicle and system coverage. It offers more diagnostic power to the vehicles technicians see in their shops most often with access to more than 1,922 new vehicle Engine Control Unit (ECU) configurations, full 2009 through 2010 vehicle coverage for Audi and Volkswagen, 310 new vehicle systems and 76 new special tests including Tire Pressure Sensor Registration. Added for the first time is Tire Pressure Sensor Registration support for Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Mercedes Benz and Volvo. Also included for the first time is BMW and Mini TPMS ECU support, and greatly improved support for Volvo to all previous years 1999 to 2005 model years.
 
Expanded coverage on USA Domestic 2010 and earlier provides access to 795 new vehicle ECU configurations, and 11 new special tests for Tire Pressure Sensor Registration for Saturn, Chrysler / Jeep and Fort. OTC’s latest software upgrade also covers new USA Asian 2010 models for Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and Mitsubishi vehicles, and features the latest software functionality for six new special tests for TPMS registration.
 
Technician requested improvements include updates to the data compression efficiency to provide better performance for faster downloads, and many data item and vehicle communication defects fixed. The high-speed scope page now has icon text tips that describes each button icon with a short description.
 
In addition to the updates mentioned above, several unique product and performance enhancements help improve printer support with the addition of Generic PCL 3 / 5e / 6 printer drivers greatly expands the number of printers that are now supported. Furthermore, the updates offer added Windows 64-bit SPX-MVCI driver support in addition to existing 32-bit operating modes.
