Delphi is continuing to expand its
all-makes ABS program with the addition of two new ABS sensors covering Mazda
applications.
Delphi says it has improved the OE
design to prevent common sensor failures caused by internal short circuits,
interrupted cables, cable short circuits, mechanical damage to the sensor
wheel, soiling and increased wheel bearing free play. Delphi’s sensors contain
plating to help prevent corrosion and failure. Tested to meet or exceed OE
requirements, Delphi ABS sensors deliver a warning light and store a fault code
when wheels lock during braking and other systems fail.
Parts information will be available on go.delphi.com and inventory on these new products will be available early in the second
quarter, Delphi says.
