Hunter’s RX16 combines a space-saving, low-profile design with tremendous power and advanced features, which according to the company, provide the most wide-ranging and efficient level of service possible with one lift.
The dual-capacity system offers the ground-clearance advantages of a standard-capacity lift to handle most vehicles, yet adds a patented Power-Up feature to boost capacity up to a massive 16,000 lbs. if needed.
According to Hunter, surface-mount installations offer a class-leading 76-inch maximum height and a low drive-on height of only 9 inches, allowing clearance for vehicles with low ride height or low-hanging spoilers.
The RX16 can also be installed in a shallow recess that sets the runways flush to the floor when fully lowered. Flush-mount installs eliminate the need for long approach ramps to accommodate shops where bay space is at a premium.
Hunter’s exclusive Hi-Speed feature accelerates service with raise and lowering times up to 40% faster when servicing light vehicles. A two-stage hydraulic pump controls the fast rise and descent and also automatically slows the lift during the last several inches of descent for a soft, safe landing.
The RX16 improves productivity with optional timesaving features like the PowerSlide system, which controls turnplate and slipplate operation with the touch of a button, and Inflation Station, an integrated tire inflation system that uses retractable air hoses to set tire pressure to a preset limit for each wheel simultaneously.
The Fully Integrated Alignment feature (available on select models) allows the lift to communicate with Hunter’s WinAlign alignment systems to automate PowerSlide functions and provide printouts of tire inflation corrections.
Two 9,000-lb. capacity swing air jacks come standard to lift vehicles off runways during alignment procedures and other service operations. Stainless steel turnplates also come standard, with PowerSlide turnplates included on select models.
