Every now and then we like to feature a product that has held its own after years of service in automotive repair. This month, I let my plier drawer dictate the content, and one of the many brands that sees frequent use is Knipex.
I have a couple different pairs of their Cobra pliers and also a pair of diagonal cutters that I use all the time. They are comfortable to use, always seem to offer the right amount of leverage and, simply put, they get the job done.
I like the easy adjustment and grip of the Cobra pliers and none of these show any signs of wearing out. The older I get, the more I go for the tools that give me the most advantage, so I’m sure these will always be within reach.
