Blair
Equipment Co., Inc., producers of precision sheet metal holemaking tools and
spotweld cutters that are used in automotive body repairs, fabrication and restoration
introduces a new Rotabroach Sheet Metal Hole Cutter Combo
Kit. The new kit (P/N 11320) combines two of the most popular kits, the small
diameter kit (P/N 11090) and the large diameter kit (P/N 11091), into one
convenient package. Included in the set are 13 sizes of Rotabroach Cutters from
5/16” to 1-1/2”. Rotabroach sheet metal cutters can drill holes in materials up
to 1/4” or 1/2” thick depending on diameter. They are ideal for use in all
types of automotive and metal fabrication, maintenance and electrical applications,
spotweld removal and plug holes for welding. The kit is packaged in a sturdy
plastic storage case and includes two arbor assemblies, extra pilots, center
punch, washers and instructions on use. Rotabroach Cutters can be used in most hand-held
electric drills and in drill presses.
Rotabroach sheet metal hole
cutters are made of M2 H.S.S., hardened and precision ground. The annular or
hollow design cuts only at the periphery of the hole, leaving the center as a
solid slug of material. Because there is no center point or "dead
zone" as with conventional hole making tools, the annular cutter
configuration has demonstrated the ability to drill holes up to three times
faster and last 10 times longer than twist drills or hole saws.
The cutters make holes that are
virtually burr-free and do not deform the surrounding material, even on thin
sheet metal. The Rotabroach Cutters are made in the USA.
The New Rotabroach Combo
Kit joins Blair’s series of holemaking and auto body tools. Blair offers
Rotabroach annular cutters which are available individually or in kits.
Spotweld cutters and kits for auto body repair, panel removal and restoration.
For larger hole requirements Blair’s Holcutters are available in sizes from
11/16” thru 3" for materials up to 1/8" thick. Other tools include
the pneumatic Enforcer Spotweld Drill and the Tornado II portable
paint shaker which are used extensively in collision shops throughout North
America.
