Performance Friction Launches Facebook Store

Performance Friction announced this week that it is the first major brake manufacturer to launch a Facebook storefront. Fans of the Performance Friction Facebook page can now order brake pads, rotors and the new RH665 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid without leaving Facebook.

Performance Friction announced this week that it is the first major brake manufacturer to launch a Facebook storefront. Fans of the Performance Friction Facebook page can now order brake pads, rotors and the new RH665 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid without leaving Facebook.

The store will initially stock some of the company’s most popular parts for the sports car enthusiast market. In the coming months, new products will be added on a weekly basis, the company said.

According to Performance Friction, one of the best features of the Facebook store is that the transaction takes place entirely on Facebook without redirection to a secondary e-commerce website. Fans of Performance Friction will be able to check their friend’s status updates and order a new set of Performance Friction Carbon Metallic Brake Pads in the same Facebook session. In addition, customers will be able to pay for their purchases using PayPal, the most trusted brand in online payment processing.

“Performance Friction has a history of innovation and surpassing industry standards and today is no different with the launch of our Facebook store,” said Chris Hennecy, marketing communications at Performance Friction. “We are excited about making our product even more accessible to the end-consumer. Now, a set of Performance Friction Carbon Metallic Brake Pads are only a few mouse clicks away.”

To visit the new Facebook store visit the Performance Friction fan page at https://www.facebook.com/PFCBrakes and click on the “Shop Now” tab beneath the profile picture.
