Mighty is a Norcross, GA-based franchisor with 111 franchises in 41 states, supplying aftermarket products and inventory control services exclusively to automotive professionals since 1963. Mighty Distributing System of America has announced a new distribution partnership with a prominent Maryland-based quick service group.

Mighty is a Norcross, Ga.-based franchisor with 111 franchises in 41 states, supplying aftermarket products and inventory control services exclusively to automotive professionals since 1963. Mighty-branded products include filtration, wipers, lighting products, batteries, brake products, belts, shop supplies and chemicals.

Mighty’s preventive maintenance expertise and family of original equipment quality undercar and underhood parts attracted the interest of The Lube Center service chain, a division of WLR Automotive Group Inc.

WLR has been headquartered in Frederick, MD, since 1987. The company operates 16 vehicle maintenance (The Lube Center), car wash (The Auto Spa) and repair facilities (The Auto Repair) around Maryland and Pennsylvania. The company serves more than 300,000 customers each year. The Lube Center was the first place winner of the National Oil & Lube News “Best Looking Lube Contest” in 2003 and again in 2010. WLR is the fifth organization to add a Mighty division to its quick lube business.

WLR’s president Randall Simpson commented, "We are extremely excited to be part of the Mighty team. When we first looked at the opportunity of purchasing our own franchise almost a year ago it did not take long for us to realize the benefits that we would experience internally as an automotive organization and the additional profit center it would give us as we obtained external customers. We are extremely particular on the types of companies we enter into a partnership with due to the fact that we have very high standards for how we operate and conduct business. Mighty has met and exceeded our expectations for entering a business relationship with them. I have been more than impressed with the corporate structure Mighty has in place and their support system is second-to-none. From my first trip to Atlanta, to the recent signing of our franchise agreement, there has been continuous communication from Mighty team members. Any time we have had a question, or needed any type of advice or support, there was someone there for us. We look forward to a very long and beneficial relationship with the Mighty organization and are extremely proud to be part of it."
