UView has begun production of the new Freedom Lite XXX, a new cordless rechargeable LED trouble light that will undoubtedly have technicians around the world replacing their old LED light.
Unlike ordinary LED lights which cast a bluish colour and focus the beam in one small area, the Freedom Lite XXX has specially engineered lenses and automotive-grade LED’s that produce an intensely vivid white light at a full 100 degrees. The brightness, whiteness and illuminated area are unmatched compared to other LED trouble lights. Technicians no longer need to compromise between the power of a corded light and the convenience of being cordless — Freedom Lite XXX provides both.
“Until now, technicians did not have the option to choose a better light simply because it did not exist. They could only purchase what was available even if that meant having to reposition the light multiple times to work on the vehicle” said Tony Ferraro, president of UView. “Now, the output is bright and wide enough that the Technician can hang it once and forget about it”.
The Freedom Lite XXX uses only three LED’s, but creates 300 lumens equal to five times the intensity of standard 30 LED lights. “It’s a myth that the quantity of LED’s used defines brightness. The quality and how the light is directed is what counts” said Scott Sinclair, chief engineer on the project. “We use premium grade Philips components with customized dome lenses to create what we truly consider the best LED work light on the market”.
The Freedom Lite XXX comes complete with a smart charger to extend battery life and features user-replaceable parts.
