Remy International Inc., manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy-duty starters and alternators, as well as Remy light-duty starters and alternators, has expanded coverage of its light-duty aftermarket line by adding many late-model part numbers and a new direct-fit pulley program.

Remy’s October release includes 65 late-model part numbers covering primarily 2011 and 2012 applications as well as some 2013 models. These late model parts cover 8.4 million VIO (vehicles in operation) for a wide variety of nameplates such as Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Audi, Volvo,  Mercedes, Chevrolet, Chrysler and Ford. The company says it plans to introduce another 100 new parts prior to year-end.

In addition, Remy recently introduced 60 direct-fit pulley part numbers for applications with multiple pulleys. These direct-fit pulley parts come equipped with the proper pulley for ease of installation and time-savings.

"Between remanufactured and brand-new parts, Remy targets approximately 98 percent alternator and starter coverage of all light-duty vehicles operating in North America," said Frank Frederick, vice president, North American Light Duty Sales at Remy International Inc. "Our goal is to ensure that our channel partners have what they need, when they need it."
