Mac Tools Sweepstakes Gives Away a ‘Ride To Remember’
Columbus, OH — Mac Tools has announced its Mac Card “Ride To Remember” sweepstakes with a grand prize of a 2006 Mustang Convertible crafted exclusively for Mac Tools by renowned car designer Chip Foose.

The sweepstakes, which kicked off March 1, will run for five months. Each month, one winner will be given a four-day, three-night trip for four to the 52nd Mac Tools U.S. Nationals NHRA event in Indianapolis Sept. 1-4, 2006. In addition, each winner will receive a Chip Foose Tool Box and a chance to win the grand prize.

To win the Mustang, each of the five monthly winners will select a key for a chance to start the car in front of the crowd at the Indianapolis Raceway Park on Finals Day at the U.S. Nationals. Timken Becomes Official Technical Partner of Joe Gibbs Racing
Canton, OH — Timken has entered into an agreement with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) to become an official technical partner of the NASCAR racing organization. The partnership, which provides product development and technical engineering support, will be leveraged across JGR’s multiple team operations in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, Busch Grand National Series and Craftsman Truck Series.

For the last two years, Timken has worked collaboratively with the JGR engineering team to develop and test technologies that improve the car’s powertrain performance, delivering longer life, improved fuel economy and higher horsepower availability. “Timken’s long history in the sport and innovative expertise in the management of friction provides our race operations with high-performing, competitive cars each and every weekend,” said J.D. New Interactive Website Features Connect Visitors to AMI
Bedford, TX — In order to meet the technological demands of students and faculty, the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) has launched a redesigned website, www.AMI online.org, which features a new look, easy navigation and unique interactive elements. The site now specifically serves current and prospective students, alumni, instructors, partners and media. Students and alumni can now access their class transcripts online. Using a unique student ID and user-created password, a student can see what classes have been taken, the number of credits he or she has accumulated and how many more credits are needed for graduation.

AMI has also implemented instant messaging technology throughout its site, as well as created audience-specific blogs for the exchange of management tips, discussion and ideas.

The following governors have issued official state proclamations that April is Car Care Month: Gov. Robert Bentley of Alabama, Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado, Gov. Pat Quinn of Illinois, Gov.
