Attendees of the 2013 Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) annual trade show, being held Feb. 7-9 in Orlando, Fla., will see a new name on the scene this year. New temperature control products supplier Cavalry Air will introduce itself to the industry at the MACS event later this month.
The newly established business has acquired Hot Air, a supplier of A/C products, which Cavalry says allows the company to offer an alternative, flexible source of climate control products and inventory management assistance.
Cavalry Air is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and is led by Kevin Burton, an aftermarket sales and marketing veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the temperature control products industry. Burton has served in executive roles with several leading manufacturers in the air conditioning segment.
“Cavalry Air is focused on meeting the requirements of its customers through consistent quality, on-time delivery and pricing that works,” Burton said. “We understand the temperature control business and we understand the challenges that many customers face today. We believe we are a viable option in helping channel partners be more successful and profitable in this product category.”
Burton noted that while Cavalry Air may be new to the aftermarket, it offers a strong value proposition that includes high-quality products and technology, supply chain expertise and a deep understanding of the industry.
“Cavalry Air is poised for rapid growth behind a strong leadership team that has more than 100 years of combined experience in the automotive aftermarket,” Burton said. “Our team’s expertise ranges from operations and global supply chain management to marketing and sales.”
