Miller Introduces its New Passive Welding Helmets

Responding to demand for Miller quality in passive (non-auto-darkening) helmet technology, Miller Electric Mfg. Co. recently introduced its MP-10 line of welding helmets. MP-10 stands for Miller Passive-shade #10 filter, which is a standard shade for general welding applications.

Tech Tip: GM Duramax Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement Problems

The following tip applies to all 2001-’06 General Motors trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine, RPO LB7 or LLY. There are a couple of issues with the fuel filters on these vehicles. In response to new emissions regulation pending in the state of California, Delphi Corp. announced its hand-held portable Low Pressure Fuel Emissions Test (LPFET) diagnostic tool, the Delphi EVAP 2010. This new emissions regulation, which is scheduled to take effect on Nov. 1, 2007, requires all California Smog Check stations to conduct a low-pressure evaporative test on 1995 or older model vehicles subject to the Smog Check program.
