Mechatronics Engineering (www.librautotech.com) announces the official North American launch of its exclusive new and patented advanced balancing technology called SPBU for “self-propelled balancing unit.”
According to Mechatronics, the SPBU eliminates all external AC or DC
motors, direct drive AC motors, gears, power management boards, pulleys,
spindles, drive-belts, wheel brake systems (using resistors or other methods)
and complex wiring systems. The absence of these components eliminates all
maintenance issues for owners and operators of wheel balancers equipped with
the SPBU since it incorporates proprietary technologies the company has named MLM, SPL,
ASB, LOE and QFM that allow for “extremely” fast “floor-to-floor” times for any
balance.
The SPBU is only available in Librauto models, which feature a wheel placement accuracy of +/- 0.035°. Available are the G1-200 with automatic rim and distance data entry; the G2-380 with automatic data entry, LCD touch-panel technology and SPL (smart position locator); and the G8-200 truck wheel balancer with automatic rim and distance data entry plus many other features.
